Our Story
NeoPalaeo is an independent fashion label based in Jaipur, established in 2019 by Shriya Singhvi. The brand designs timeless, zero-waste garments crafted from repurposed antique Indian textiles, created to be worn across seasons and by people of all genders.
Kantha quilting is a traditional Bengali craft that involves layering, patching, and handstitching cloth and saris together. By the time our pieces are completed, the fabric is in its third life cycle having been shaped and cared for by generations of women.
At NeoPalaeo, sustainability begins with what already exists. Each piece is crafted from antique textiles—third-generation fabrics that have lived many lives before becoming garments. We don’t follow seasonal trends or markdown cycles. Instead, we create enduring pieces designed to be worn often, treasured over time, and to carry their stories forward—now with you.
For us, sustainability isn’t a feature; it’s the foundation. Our designs are made from vintage kantha quilts, materials shaped by generations of hands. With a focus on longevity, versatility, and quiet beauty, we create clothing that honors the past while moving toward a more thoughtful future.
